Here are some commonly used aviation terms:   FARs The Federal Aviation Regulations.   Part 91 Part 91 of the FARs, which applies to noncommercial aircraft.   Part 135 Part 135 of the FARs, which applies to charter aircraft.   Part 121 Part 121 of the FARs, which applies to airlines.   Part 125 Part 125 of the FARs, which applies to large civil aircraft.   Wet Lease A lease of the aircraft and crew. Sometimes refers to lease of aircraft with fuel.   Dry Lease A lease of the aircraft without crew.   Interchange An exchange of wet leases, on an hour for hour basis.   Timeshare A wet lease of an aircraft for which limited charges can be made.
