Today, North Field is mostly covered with vegetation, all but a handful of the aircraft have gone to the scrap heap and most of the men and women who served with the 6th Bomb Group are no longer with us. However, many people are trying to keep the memory alive by restoring B-29s, by building models and by incorporating the B-29 and Tinian in flight simulations. |
